The Council of Advice of Sint Maarten is pleased to announce the publication of its 2025 Annual Report, providing an overview of the Council’s work, activities, and developments throughout the year.
A central feature of this year’s report is the thematic section, “The Human Dimension in Independent Advising.” The section explores the importance of recruitment, expertise, independence, integrity, conflict-of-interest safeguards, and continuous knowledge development in maintaining the quality and credibility of independent advice.
The Council of Advice remains committed to safeguarding Sint Maarten’s democracy and rule of law through independent, high-quality, accurate, sound, and fair advice to Government and Parliament.
